The Big Broadcast Volume 3 - Jazz and Popular Music of the 1920s and 1930s
Rivermont BSW-1145
Released May 20, 2008

Rich Conaty and Rivermont Records have teamed up again to produce a third collection of jazz and popular music of the 1920s and 1930s modeled on Conaty's long-running WFUV-FM New York radio program The Big Broadcast. This third volume features more obscure and delightful recordings--many appearing on compact disc for the first time--beautifully-remastered by Grammy-nominated engineer Adrian Cosentini. A 16-page full-color booklet features in-depth liner notes for each of the selections and includes a complete discography. 71 minutes.

Ethan Uslan
Rivermont BSW-2207
Released January 29, 2008

Pianist Ethan Uslan's second Rivermont CD features a pleasing mixture of "hot" and "sweet." The program begins with several of Ethan's fiery ragtime arrangements of such standards as "I Found A New Baby," "My Old Kentucky Home," and even a Chopin Nocturne. For the second half of the disc, Ethan settles into an elegant, lush "cocktail" style for such favorites as "Stardust," "Deep Purple," and "I'll Be Seeing You." The selections were recorded in December 2007. 45 minutes.
